Beyond the Big Bend is a story for those interested in the days of steam on Australia's inland rivers. It follows the rivalry between the two first skippers and their race up the Murray. I wrote the book in 2020 and serialised it on the website in weekly instalments. I had a lot of contact with family descendants from the main players in this drama and enjoyed every minute of bringing the story to life.

Whistler's Bones is the biggest selling and most popular book of mine. I based it on the life of real--life adventurer Charlie Gaunt, who was on the Durack family's famous cattle drive from Western Queensland to the Kimberley.

Red Jack and the Ragged Thirteen is a little more fiction than fact, but still heavily researched and based on historical characters. I loved telling the story Ted Nugent and his mates, along with that of the lawmen who pursued them. I serialised this story online from 2018 to 2019.

Will Jones and the Dead Man's Letter is a novella, not a full length novel and can be read in a couple of hours. I wrote it entirely in the month of August, 2021.

The Last Days of Dom Sebastian was a labour of love over twenty years, requiring an incredible amount of research on medieval Portugal, seafaring lore and the Indigenous inhabitants of the East Kimberley.
